Minnetonka Civic Orchestra

I have conducted the Minnetonka Civic Orchestra since September, 2009.  The MCO is a non-auditioned community ensemble of about 30 players that rehearses in the orchestra room at the Minnetonka Senior High School on Monday nights.  The group plays a variety of standard orchestral repertoire a gives 3-4 free public concerts each year.  I have enjoyed my time working with this group and appreciate very much the opportunity it has given me to further develop my string pedagogy skills.

The Minnetonka Civic Orchestra is a member of the Music Association of Minnetonka, a community music association that includes two orchestras, a concert band and seven choirs.  Founded in 1974 by Dr. Roger Satrang Hoel, MAM is thought to be the largest non-profit music association in America, serving hundreds of adults and students each week.

For more information about the Minnetonka Civic Orchestra or other MAM programs, contact me or call the MAM office at 952-401-5954.
